🛠️ Key Responsibilities
As a Network Operation Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot network issues using advanced tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, and Zabbix.

Firewall & Network Appliance Management: Configure and manage next-gen firewalls and network devices like Palo Alto (PA) and Cisco routers/switches.
-
Network Automation & Configuration Management: Use tools such as Ansible and Cisco Prime for automated configuration, deployment, and maintenance of network equipment.

Endpoint Security: Ensure endpoint integrity and protection with solutions like CrowdStrike and Microsoft Sentinel One.
-
Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring: Monitor cloud services using Azure Monitor and AWS CloudWatch to ensure availability and performance.

Identity & Access Management (IAM): Implement and manage secure identity access via Azure AD, Okta, and CyberArk.

DLP, Backup & Recovery Tools: Support and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies, and contribute to backup/recovery procedures.

Incident Response: Respond promptly to network alerts and incidents to ensure 24/7 service continuity.
🔍 Required Skills & Technical Expertise
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
🌐 Networking:

In-depth knowledge of core networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, SNMP

Experience with LAN/WAN, switching, routing, and VPNs
🔥 Firewalls & Appliances:

Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Cisco security appliances
-
Working knowledge of NAT, ACLs, IPSec, and SSL VPN configuration
🧰 Monitoring Tools:

Proficiency in SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, or equivalent NMS tools

Alert management and performance analysis
⚙️ Automation & Config Tools:

Experience with Ansible, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, and scripting for configuration deployment

Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles
🛡️ Endpoint & Cloud Security:
