🔍 Job Overview:
As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining GMP-compliant IT infrastructure for daily operations at a pharmaceutical production facility. Your responsibilities will include supporting desktops, servers, pharma-specific applications, and compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 standards.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, and printers

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software/network issues

Maintain and support GMP/GLP-compliant software systems (LIMS, Chromeleon, LabSolution, DAS, Zenon, etc.)

Implement IT policies compliant with 21 CFR Part 11 and FDA guidelines

Coordinate with central IT teams and shopfloor users for issue resolution

Manage user access, backups, and IT audits

Assist during regulatory inspections and internal quality audits

Ensure IT system availability in critical pharma operations (QC/QA/R&D/Production).
👨💻 Ideal Candidate Profile:

Degree: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent

Experience: 2–5 years of IT support experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing

Sound knowledge of GMP/GxP IT systems, 21 CFR Part 11, and audit requirements

Proficient in resolving issues in instrument-integrated systems (HPLC, UV, GC, etc.)

Strong communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills

Must be comfortable working in 24×7 shifts and off-roll mode.
