Position: Project Management Executive / Lead – Vaccine R&D
Department: Vaccines Research & Development
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Experience Required: 3+ years (0–7 years considered for exceptional candidates)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

🧠 Job Summary

The role focuses on leading and managing cross-functional vaccines development projects, facilitating technology transfer, managing budgets, resources, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams across research, regulatory, QA/QC, finance, and engineering to drive cost-efficient, on-time, and compliant execution.

📝 Key Responsibilities

✔ Project Management and Tech Transfer

  • Oversee vaccines/biopharma/pharma development and tech transfer initiatives.

  • Create and implement project schedules, tracking systems, and documentation.

  • Apply PM best practices and frameworks to drive milestone-based progress.

✔ Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams including:

    • Vaccine R&D

    • Quality Assurance

    • Quality Control

    • Regulatory Affairs

    • Engineering, Finance, and SCM

  • Organize and moderate status update meetings, track action items, and ensure closures.

✔ Budgeting & Resource Planning

  • Prepare and monitor program budgets, headcount, and CapEx/OpEx projections.

  • Track variances between planned vs. actual spends and prepare justifications as required.

  • Maintain project risk assessments and propose mitigation plans.

✔ Reporting and Documentation

  • Share project status reports with Functional Heads and Department Leads.

  • Document audit trails, risk mitigation strategies, and project-related SOPs.

🎓 Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Life Sciences (Biotech, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, etc.)

  • AND

  • MBA in Finance, Business Analytics, General Management, or Healthcare from a reputed institute

  • OR

  • Bachelor’s in Life Sciences + MBA in relevant management domain

🛠 Technical & Soft Skills

Must-Have Tools:

  • MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio

  • Exposure to project collaboration tools (e.g., Trello, Jira, Asana) is a bonus

Functional Skills:

  • Strategic thinking & milestone management

  • Budgeting & forecasting

  • Risk identification & mitigation

Soft Skills:
