✅ Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Writer II, you’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate documentation of clinical study outcomes. Key duties include:

• Authoring clinical study reports (CSRs), patient narratives, protocols, investigator brochures, and annual safety reports.

• Performing quality control (QC) reviews of CSRs and narratives to ensure scientific accuracy and adherence to ICH-E3, company SOPs, and client requirements.

• Collaborating with biostatistics, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs teams.

• Conducting literature reviews and data interpretation to support clinical documentation.

• Reviewing statistical analysis plans (SAPs), tables, figures, and listings for technical correctness.

• Assisting with project timelines, deliverables, and budget management.

• Mentoring junior writers and reviewing their work.

📋 Candidate Profile – Who Can Apply?

🎓 Educational Qualifications:

• Mandatory: B.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or Health Sciences OR

• Alternative: B.A. in English, Communications, or Journalism with a strong scientific writing background

• Preferred: M.Sc., B.Pharm, or M.Pharm in relevant disciplines

🧠 Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical writing for clinical trials, especially CSR narratives and QC reviews

• Familiarity with global regulatory requirements including FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines

🛠 Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent command of written English and scientific grammar

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online research tools

• Understanding of clinical research processes and drug development lifecycle

• Strong analytical, editing, and project management skills

• Knowledge of AMA style guide is a plus
