🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day coding operations for Same-Day Surgery records, focusing on outpatient procedures and ambulatory services

• Assign accurate codes based on ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding guidelines

• Ensure compliance with Vee Healthtek’s coding policies and client-specific SLAs

• Maintain high productivity and quality benchmarks

• Collaborate with internal QA and client-side teams to ensure coding accuracy

• Prepare and maintain coding status reports and documentation

• Adapt to feedback and implement process improvements

• Uphold standards in compliance, documentation, and audit-readiness

📋 Eligibility Criteria

✅ Educational Qualifications:

• Graduate in Life Sciences or Medical Sciences

  • B.Sc (Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry)

  • B.Pharm / M.Pharm

  • BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS

✅ Work Experience:

• 1+ year experience in Same-Day Surgery coding

• 2–6 years experience for Senior Medical Coder and QA roles

• Prior experience in US healthcare coding preferred

✅ Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding systems

• Knowledge of outpatient and same-day surgery procedures

• Familiarity with ambulatory surgical coding guidelines

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and knowledge of coding compliance

• Strong organizational and communication skills

✅ Certifications (Preferred):

• CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or

• COC (Certified Outpatient Coder)
  (from AAPC or AHIMA)
