🔬 What You’ll Do:
- Conduct multi-step organic synthesis of photocages, photoswitches, and unnatural amino acids.
- Perform photochemical characterization (quantum yield, lifetime, etc.).
- Engage in solid-phase peptide synthesis and cell-based biological assays.
- Communicate scientific findings in written and oral formats within an international environment.
- Supervise and mentor Bachelor’s and Master’s students.
- Work in collaboration with top-tier institutions including Max Planck Institute (MPI-TM).
🧠 Candidate Profile:
- MSc or equivalent in organic chemistry, photochemistry, or related fields.
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in organic multistep synthesis.
- Interest or experience in biological techniques.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and capable of working independently and in teams.
- Passion for exploring biological systems at the atomic level.
