📌 Job Opening: Manager – GC, GC-MS

• Job Title: Manager – GC, GC-MS

• Department: Analytical Research

• Job Location: Matoda, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

• Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry, M.Pharm, or equivalent

• Work Schedule: General Shift (with flexibility depending on project demands)

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

As the Manager of GC/GC-MS, your role will include:

• Leading analytical method development, validation, and execution using GC and GC-MS techniques.

• Managing extractable/leachable (E&L) studies, volatile organic substance studies, and chemical characterization projects.

• Operating and maintaining Agilent 7890B GC systems, 5977B Mass Spectrometry Detectors, and other advanced instrumentation.

• Ensuring method validation and reporting in accordance with ICH, USFDA, and EMA regulatory standards.

• Supervising a team of junior analysts and ensuring quality assurance, data integrity, and GLP compliance across laboratory operations.

• Generating, reviewing, and approving high-quality technical documents, investigational reports, and audit-ready documentation.

• Supporting client audits, internal inspections, and contributing to the company’s QMS (Deviation, CAPA, Change Control, etc.).

🔧 Required Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with:

  • Gas Chromatography (GC)

  • Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS)

  • GC-MS/MS (Preferred)

• Proficient in software platforms such as:

  • Agilent MassHunter

  • ChemStation

  • OpenLab CDS

• Strong understanding of:

  • Method development, method validation, and sample preparation techniques

  • Regulatory documentation standards (GLP, GxP)

  • Quality systems including deviation handling, CAPA tracking, and audit trail management

• Effective leadership and team management capabilities

• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
