🧠 About the Role
As a Software Engineer on the AiDP team, you’ll play a critical role in designing and developing robust, scalable, and distributed data systems that empower Apple’s analytics platforms. You’ll help create cloud-native tools that handle real-time, near real-time, and batch analytical workloads for key Apple business units like Sales, Finance, Marketing, AppleCare, and Internet Services.
Expect to work with a rich stack of tools and technologies including Kafka, Spark, Presto, Iceberg, Airflow, and Snowflake, while integrating these with Apple’s internal ecosystems.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Build scalable cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
- Integrate open-source tools with Apple’s internal systems.
- Develop and optimize SQLs, REST APIs, ETLs, and data services.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and workflows.
- Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
🎓 Minimum Qualifications
