👩‍🔬 Job Role – QC Analyst (Team Member – Quality Control)

As a QC Analyst, you will be responsible for testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products while ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

🧪 Roles & Responsibilities

1. Perform In-process and Finished Product testing for:

   • Assay

   • Related Substances

   • Residual Solvents

   • UOD (Uniformity of Dosage)

   • Dissolution

   • Water Content (Karl Fischer)

2. Analyze Exhibit batches, Hold Time samples, and Process Validation batches

3. Operate and maintain the following QC instruments:

   • HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography)

   • GC (Gas Chromatography)

   • Dissolution Apparatus

   • UV Spectrophotometer

   • Potentiometer

   • Malvern-3000 Particle Size Analyzer

4. Independently handle Empower Software for sample set loading, processing, and data interpretation

5. Follow GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and GDP (Good Documentation Practices)

6. Perform documentation and investigations related to:

   • OOT (Out of Trend)

   • OOS (Out of Specification)

   • Deviations and Change Controls

7. Maintain and update data in:

   • SAP

   • LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)

   • DCMS

8. Support quality audits and inspections by regulatory bodies like USFDA, WHO, MHRA, and TGA

🎯 Key Skills Required

• Proficiency in chromatographic techniques like HPLC, GC

• Hands-on experience in sample preparation of Raw Materials and Finished Products

• Strong working knowledge of:

  • Dissolution Testing

  • Potentiometric Titration

  • Karl Fischer Titration

  • Malvern Particle Size Analysis

• Comfort in using:

  • Empower Software

  • SAP, LIMS, and other QC platforms

• Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance protocols and quality assurance standards

🎓 Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry

• B.Pharm or equivalent degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences

Work Experience:

• 3 to 5 years in a Quality Control department

• Preference given to candidates from regulated manufacturing environments (USFDA/MHRA-approved plants)
