Job Opportunity: Quality Control Analyst / Quality Control Chemist

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Chemist to join our QC team in the UAE. As part of our mission to uphold Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), this role is critical to ensuring that all pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products meet the highest quality standards.

United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Responsibilities:

As a Quality Control Chemist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

• Operating and maintaining laboratory instruments including ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma), HPLC, UV-VIS, and dissolution apparatus.

• Ensuring all tests are performed in compliance with GLP/GMP standards and regulatory requirements.

• Documenting test results accurately and maintaining proper laboratory records.

• Investigating out-of-specification (OOS) results and assisting in root cause analysis.

• Participating in internal and external audits and implementing corrective actions.

• Supporting method validation, calibration activities, and troubleshooting of lab equipment.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain quality assurance standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a Quality Control role within the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industry.

• Knowledge of:

  • GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)

  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)

  • ICP analytical methods

  • Usage and calibration of analytical lab equipment

• Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to interpret analytical data

  • Familiarity with documentation in compliance with international quality standards

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and lab information systems

  • Team player with strong communication skills
