The Drake Stormwater Research Group at Carleton University, Ottawa, is inviting expressions of interest from highly motivated MASc and PhD applicants for fully funded research positions starting in Fall 2025 or Winter 2026. This opportunity focuses on cutting-edge research in microplastics pollution and green infrastructure design—a vital intersection in environmental engineering and urban water sustainability.
Led by Dr. Jennifer Drake, a Tier II Canada Research Chair and recognized authority in stormwater management, the lab offers a collaborative environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities and cross-disciplinary mentorship. Dr. Drake joined Carleton University in 2022 after a decade at the University of Toronto and has published extensively in the field.
