We’re currently expanding our operations at Jhagadia GIDC Estate and are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager – EHS to support and lead our compliance, safety, and environmental systems at the site.

🔍 Role Overview – Assistant Manager, EHS

📍 Location: Sigachi Industries Limited, Plot No. 763/2, GIDC Estate, Jhagadia, Bharuch, Gujarat – 393110.

👔 Position Title:

Assistant Manager – Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

🧠 Experience Required:

7 to 10 years in EHS roles, preferably in chemical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing industries.

🎓 Educational Qualifications:

• BE/B.Tech in Environmental Engineering or equivalent

• PDIS (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety) is mandatory

🔧 Key Responsibilities

As Assistant Manager – EHS, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and managing all environment, health, and safety programs across the site

• Ensuring compliance with GPCB norms, factory act regulations, and company EHS policies

• Operating and maintaining ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), and RO systems efficiently

• Conducting hazard identification, risk assessment, and job safety analysis

• Implementing incident reporting systems and driving root cause analysis for corrective actions

• Leading training initiatives related to HSE awareness, emergency preparedness, PPE usage, etc.

• Coordinating with auditors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders for regular site inspections

• Supporting sustainability projects such as water recycling, energy efficiency, and green manufacturing

📌 Required Skills

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• In-depth knowledge of industrial health and safety standards

• Experience managing ETP/STP/RO systems

• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills

• Team leadership qualities and a proactive mindset
