📊 Job Opportunity: Data Analyst – Medical Affairs
As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with the Global Medical Affairs Organization (GMAO) to deliver real-time, actionable insights through data lakes, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools. This role is pivotal in ensuring that data supports critical decision-making for medical strategies and patient outcomes.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:

Build subject matter expertise in Lilly’s therapeutic data to support analytics.

Develop and maintain data lakes, dashboards, and other digital tools to empower stakeholders.

Manage data operations, ensuring consistent availability and validation accuracy.
-
Provide incident resolution and perform root cause analysis for data-related issues.
-
Prepare execution dashboards that align with medical team roadmaps.
-
Deliver descriptive analytics to support planning, execution, and impact evaluation.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and standardize best practices.
🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications
📘 Educational Background:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Sciences, Statistics, Econometrics, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science.
🧳 Experience:

7–9 years of hands-on experience in data management, descriptive analytics, pharma market intelligence, or performance reporting.
🛠️ Technical Skills:

SQL: Proficient in writing/debugging complex queries.

Power BI (preferred) or Tableau: Strong experience in creating and maintaining data visualizations.

MS Office Suite: Especially Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.

R or Python: Added advantage but not mandatory.

Experience in incident tracking, dashboard creation, and data storytelling.
🧩 Analytical & Management Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and lateral thinking ability.

Strong focus on data quality, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-impact projects.

Familiarity with project management tools like Wrike, JIRA, or Adobe Workfront is a plus.
