🔍 Job Summary

As the Senior Manager – QA, you will lead the site-wide Quality Assurance operations across our ST (Sterile Technology) and NST (Non-Sterile Technology) plants. You will be responsible for ensuring cGMP compliance, managing deviations and CAPAs, and continuously driving quality improvements in manufacturing and packaging.

The role demands strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical QMS systems (Agile, TrackWise, Amplelogic), and a passion for embedding a quality-first culture.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead site QA operations with a focus on cGMP compliance and audit readiness.

• Manage the IPC (In-Process Control) team and sampling activities for ST and NST manufacturing units.

• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in deviation management and CAPA systems.

• Handle market complaint investigations and Out-of-Specification (OOS) cases, ensuring timely and accurate root cause analysis.

• Oversee change control procedures, providing real-time impact assessments and approvals.

• Review and approve all CAPAs related to ST and NST manufacturing.

• Ensure all quality incidents are handled in accordance with Julphar QMS and relevant regulatory bodies.

• Promote and implement quality improvement programs across both plants.

• Monitor and report on Quality KPI metrics, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of key issues.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Coach and mentor junior QA team members and facilitate succession planning.

• Coordinate with operations teams to strengthen cross-departmental product knowledge and compliance understanding.

🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile

✅ Required Experience:

• 10–15 years of pharmaceutical QA experience in formulation manufacturing (ST and/or NST environments)

• Demonstrated success in managing QA/QMS systems, especially in regulatory-compliant manufacturing environments

• Experience working with USFDA, EU-GMP, WHO-GMP, or TGA audited plants is a strong plus

✅ Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related life sciences field

✅ Technical Skills:

• Hands-on expertise in QMS tools like:

  • Agile

  • TrackWise

  • Amplelogic

• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies

• Proficient computer skills, documentation handling, and data integrity management
