About the Opportunity

At the forefront of aquatic chemistry, the Remucal Research Group specializes in exploring complex chemical processes in water systems. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will engage in cutting-edge studies focusing on:

  • Dissolved Organic Matter (DOM) — Understand the chemistry and behavior of organic compounds in aquatic environments.

  • Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) — Investigate persistent and emerging contaminants using advanced analytical methods.

You’ll work extensively with Fourier Transform-Ion Cyclotron Resonance Mass Spectrometry (FT-ICR MS) and Orbitrap Mass Spectrometry, pushing the boundaries of high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) to new heights. Moreover, you’ll have the opportunity to develop novel data analysis approaches that enhance how complex mixtures are characterized and understood.

Required Qualifications
