Role Overview
The Manager – Statistical Programming is a senior leadership position where you will oversee statistical programming deliverables for global clinical trials. You’ll guide a team of skilled programmers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and the delivery of high-quality data outputs. This role provides a blend of technical expertise, leadership responsibility, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of statistical programmers.
- Ensure all programming deliverables comply with CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM).
- Collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and global study teams.
- Deliver datasets, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs) within project timelines.
- Promote process improvements, innovation, and best practices in programming.
- Manage project risks, budgets, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 10+ years in statistical programming in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SAS programming; knowledge of R is an added advantage.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and complex projects.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
